Pearly Tan: 'I'm no longer in pain"

Women's doubles star Pearly Tan said today she is recovering well after withdrawing from the Malaysia Masters due to a back injury.
It also caused Pearly to miss the recent Uber Cup Finals in Horsens, Denmark.
Pearly shared with her fans on Facebook today: "Hey everyone, I know many of you have been concerned about my injury! I just want to let you all know that I'm recovering well and I'm no longer in pain.
"I just need a little more time to prepare myself, so don't worry too much about me, Everything is good now!"
National women's doubles head coach Rosman Razak said on Monday that it was still too early for Pearly to return to competition, even though she has shown encouraging progress in her recovery.
While disappointed to miss the Malaysia Masters in front of home fans at the Unifi Arena, Pearly urged supporters to continue backing the national players throughout the week.
"Let's continue supporting our Malaysia team at the Perodua Malaysia Masters 2026 Maybe there will even be a chance for us to meet outside the court."
Pearly ended her message by expressing how much she misses the fans, and she hopes to return to court soon.
"I miss you guys and hope to see all of you again very soon!"
